We are delighted to announce that the first phase of the new Vydrica district has officially been approved. This phase includes four residential buildings with 207 apartments, 19 retail units, an underground garage, and two new streets: Floriánska and Oeserova.
The opening of the first retail units is scheduled for the first quarter of 2025.
The unveiling of the first part of this new district marks a significant step toward connecting the historical city center with modern developments along the Danube waterfront. The continuation of the Vydrica project will not only restore the physical space but also revive the former atmosphere and spirit of the location, bringing new life and energy to Bratislava.
Currently, construction of the Vydrica Offices administrative building is underway, along with preparatory work for the most prestigious residential building in Vydrica, V4.
The expansion of Vydrica opens a new chapter in the urban development of the castle district.
At the same time, we are actively working on the concept for the second and third phases of the project. The aim of these phases is not merely to restore the physical space but to breathe life back into the unique atmosphere and character of the area.
The architectural design of phases two and three is being carried out by teams from Compass Architects and Šujan_Stassel Architects. As in the first phase, these phases incorporate modern architectural solutions that are carefully integrated into the historical context of Vydrica.
