Lucron Group has become the sole shareholder of Vydrica Development, a.s., acquiring full ownership of the Vydrica project. Following the successful completion and final approval of the first phase, the opening of new streets, and the gradual activation of the retail district, Vydrica is now entering the next stage of its development.
“Vydrica is a long-term project for us and one of the most significant investments in our portfolio. By assuming full ownership, we are reaffirming our long-term commitment to both this location and the city of Bratislava. At the same time, I would like to sincerely thank our former partners for their constructive collaboration, which has helped bring the project to where it is today. We are now entering the next chapter of Vydrica’s development, which we intend to deliver with the same ambition and unwavering focus on quality,” said Zoltán Müller, CEO of Lucron.

Vydrica moves ahead with further phases and enhanced public spaces
Shortly after the change in ownership, Lucron plans to launch the pre-sales of apartments in the V5 residential development, which will comprise two buildings offering 80 new homes. This next phase will build on the established urban planning concept of the first phase of Vydrica, expanding the residential offering while maintaining a strong emphasis on high-quality architecture, attractive public spaces and advanced technological standards.
At the same time, work continues on other parts of the development, including the completion of the V4 residential building and preparations for the revitalisation of the historic Water Tower site. Preparations are also well underway for the construction of the staircase leading to Sigismund Gate, which will further enhance Vydrica’s public realm and create a direct pedestrian connection to Bratislava Castle.
